Like him, she too, would not go down without a good fight. If he’s to speak for himself, he has his pride on the line and will never let anyone belittle him if he could help it. Except his mom since she’s super scary…
Kiba did not expect fighters like Tayuya nor himself to actually be competent in dancing. To his surprise, both were doing just fine and with every step, comes another in perfect harmony. Even though he is in the dance club, he never did ballroom dancing of any sort. It was all pop and hip hop.
Neither of the ninjas were paying much attention to the dance itself. It was just the conversation they were having that was of importance.

Ignoring the eyes that were on them, he felt a tickle at his neck and his eyes slid to the side. Her hair brushed against his neck as she leaned in to whisper in his ears.
“Lets say I fall for your game and accept your idea of being more nice and we became friends where would it go from there for us…”
Was she asking him? In all honesty, with this woman, where things would go will be completely dependent on her pace alone. While he didn’t mind being good friends with her, he also kept in mind the risks since she seems to still be linked with orochimaru in a close master and servant type of relationship. That thought alone displeased Kiba so much since he valued freedom second to how much he values his comrades.
“Friends?” He echoed quietly.
“I’d like that quite a bit…and where would it go from there…” He paused for a second, studying her expression carefully then chuckling at the amusement of his own cautiousness.

“…that depends on you since I’m a free man to the core.”
He wasn’t sure if she would catch his drift the way he had worded it. However, only two roads from that. Good and bad. If he is lucky, she’d understand his concern. If he wasn’t, she’d take offense and drama would start in the room then and there. He won’t back down from what he said. Sure, his words might be too straightforward, but his words held no ill intentions to them. Keeping an alert eye on her every movement, he awaited her reply.
Tayuya did not know what to say. She did not want to make a scene right now so she remained calm for now. As the continued she brought his hand down to her curse mark on her neck. As she moved his fingers around it she began to feel more human and weak as she looked at him with eyes of despair with a glimmer of hope in the black void.
“…that depends on you since I’m a free man to the core.”
“I don’t think I will ever be free doggy. This mark was given when I was so young and when she was still alive. I have not been able to think about being free in the longest. Yeah I would have loved to have more freedom like you or the other leaf punks but it only forced me to become stronger in the end to defend and protect myself…”
She said before letting his hand go. She wanted him to understand she would never break from his control but she was not his robot either. She wanted to do as she pleased and it seems this school was her chance for that now. They might still be enemies but not all was lost for them and others. Tayuya was beginning to become more brave and independent even as she admitted to her chains of imprisonment.
